Description:
Convert text strings into GIF images. GIF_TEXT is a free, web-aware application that will create a .GIF file from a text string. GIF_TEXT uses "alphabytes", collections of graphical characters contained in a set of .GIF files. Several alphabytes are provided with GIF_TEXT, and it's easy to add new ones. In addition, GIF_TEXT can also read TTF font files! GIF_TEXT features include backgrounds, foreground transformation using color slides, font switching, a "make a button" feature, and much more. GIF_TEXT can be run as an addon for the SRE-http web server, as a generic CGI-BIN script (under any CGI-BIN aware OS/2 Web Server), or from the OS/2 command line. (gif_text.zip)
