Description:
Elvis is a vi/ex clone with many additional features. It provides features such as syntax highlighting, display modes for MAN and HTML pages, support for HTTP and FTP. This is a prerelease build from the (unofficial) git repo at https://github.com/mbert/elvis/ based on the sources from almost-2.2_1.tar.gz submitted by Steve Kirkendall in 2004 and contains various patches and bugfixes from various contributors submitted since then.
