Description:
Univerally applicable OS/2 optimization. As a universal parameter optimization program EPO is applicable to almost any problem. It is based on an evolutionary algorithm derived from the biological paradigm of evolution theory. It does not require, for its work, insights into the mathematical background of the system to be optimized. Instead, an implicit model of the dependencies is built up during a run, evaluating the success and failure of exploring steps. Therefore EPO is able to co-operate with a great number of (so far) isolated simulation programs that don't have to be designed for optimization purposes. Shareware. (EPO_06A.ZIP)
