File and directory searches. Seek is principally an OS/2 (eCS) utility to search for files and directories (folders) on your system. After the search has been completed you can sort the results, in ascending or descending order, by any of the following sort criteria: 1.) File (or directory) create/save date; 2.) File (or directory) create/save time; 3.) File (or directory) size; 4.) File (or directory) path; or 5.) Filename or directory name SEEK can also perform other services such as: launch selected files into appropriate applications, search for text strings in ASCII files, find file or directory extended attributes and copy file or directory tree data to the clipboard.
